All of the sudden, it got murky and darkish in the sky. Albeit it is only 1900 early evening. So yeah - a weather front with local showers is pulling over Stockholm.

Yet, the showers are few - because we are only facing the tail of a weather front, which is more active north of Sweden.

The air is still warm with 22°C - which feels really so awesome ! After all, it is only the third week in May. Well, the warm air will not last that long - albeit we may actually get a very mild night with temperatures around 15-16°C - before it get cooler in the days ahead.

Was Stockholm City, with 26.5°C. in my opinion slightly over the top, because surrounding stations had lower temperatures around 25°C.

Stockholm-Bromma airport had 24.4°C, Film 25.6°C, Adelsö 25.3°C. Same like Skarpö with 25.3°C.

It is as if there is a strange extra push happening when it comes to Stockholm City's temperatures. It feels slightly... not entirely right sometimes. (Also the final corrective values, often jump a bit higher than firstly seen in the wave charts). Often you see a little extra added. I am aware of the warm air bubble in Stockholm - but what I mean is, as if they or something puts a little extra "tax expenses" on top of the real/original MAX.

At the same time I have to empathize, that this just my feeling during latter couple of years. I have no proof of my suspicion/feel/theory.

Tullinge station is missing (has ended)

Also stupid that Tullinge weather station has been canceled since 2026. Located on a former military airfield, far outside the real suburbs of Stockholm, about 11 km from my place here in Rågsved / Snösätra.

Now we have no reference station south of Stockholm City except for Berga, which is a station located at the water / Baltic Sea Cost. Tullinge on the other hand was placed inland - and showed unaffected temperatures (without being affected by the warm-air bubble over and in the city).

In particularly MIN temperatures showed 7-11°C lower MIN temperatures in Tullinge compared to the city.

I have always considered Tullinge to be a very important reference station - which empathized the artificially created warm micro climate Stockholm City actually has; there you always get "climate warming". Creating 7-11°C warmer nights - is not a small thing !

it is already clearing up. The front has passed. We only got a few rain drops. (It would be better with more rain, still). Nature looks slightly stressed.

Wow. Suddenly it got again dark. Very dark with a special type of color. It was both very warm near the horizon - but in the clouds you could spot a greenish nuance. It looked (almost) ominous. The slight greenish tint, reminds me of thunderstorms sometimes having such tints.

Only minutes after it started to rain; like a real classic summer shower; Short and intense. Lovely !! The whole sky turned into a rather featureless mass, less dramatic, and with warm colors.

Then it stopped after 5-10 minutes, starting to clear up once again.

Thinking:

So, instead of writing about stupid weather outlooks (writing hollow texts which are obsolete 6-12 hours later) as those weather models change direction more often, than a man changes underwear.

It is more interesting to just observe and document the weather THAT IS, THE WAY IT IS; with passion and keen interest. Rather then those garbage-in, garbage-out models wasting time and words on them.
