A Pity

I only caught a very bright meteor at the very border of this 50 minutes á 4 sec image. Since its trail is far thicker than any of the stars - it must have been around magnitude -1 or -2, perhaps slightly more. Which I believe is close to qualifying as a "Bolide".

It is the first time i caught a bright meteor in a photo. It appears that the "Live Comp" really sucks in anything that wanders around in the skies. Some "mini meteors" are identified what i believe are "rotating satellites" - I was able to follow them on a linear trail. (Earlier i thought those where mini meteors). But apparently they are satellites and they "flash" ever so slightly along their path.

Damn ?!

Now that i think about it... it is rather hard to tell from a live Comp longtime exposure - if that bright flash was a meteor or perhaps another satellite. I mean, how can I really - since I actually don't know. For the time being i assume the bright one was a meteor... But suddenly, i am not so sure anymore.

What a lousy, overcrowded sky we now have.

Damn.
