Simple LED sticks
Then I also ordered simplistic LED light sticks, which likely or might fall apart á lá low level China quality (of what they sell in Amazon, I mean, often holds a lower quality. Not always, but quite often when you buy simplistic things made in plastic).
But as a light painting tool, i thought - OK, why not trying.
Black body suit
On top I re-ordered that BLACK suit which covers my entire body. I had it once - but likely they went to Paola and Carla (also the checkerboard suits), which they made great stuff with photographically.
I bought it again, because it might allow me to act near a person with light, without that my body or hands get into the picture. Especially when lifting the shadows a bit, it tends to show diffuse amounts of moving arms (if there is any weak light present in the room, I mean).
Like in the photo below, which by the way was the first where i used the Critter RGB light from the US company "Ants on a Melon" - together with the black light brush.
The Olympus camera setting "Live Comp" allowed continues addition of highlights (but not shadows). Nevertheless, once i lifted the shadows, you could see my arms. Illuminated from weaker light in the room.

Normally I used to work (experiment) in total dark rooms or in an almost dark environments outdoors. The Olympus "Live Comp" setting however, does add some flexibility to how you do light painting, and it doesn't need to be totally dark-dark.
More tools from "Ants on a Melon"
I did add more light painting tools from the US company, such as a little device allowing to write in the air, you screw onto the Critter RGB torch. It is called an "acrylic writer"
The "Jupiter rope"
is a 1.83 meter long, quite thick rope - which actually can work exactly like the EL-Wire - only that i can now choose any color (or color patterns), and that it is much more rigid compared to the fragile EL-Wires. It is also brighter !
Honey comb Modular saber
is like the word suggests; a honeycomb patterned light saber (61 cm), you screw onto the Critter RGB torch.

You either play Master Joda
Obi-Wan Kenobi, or do light-paintings in the dark. The same goes for the other saber i ordered. This device is likely easier to handle compared to the New Zealand "Home of Poi" Glowing Stick we had...
Or the humongous 2 meter Pixelstick i bought in 2014. That thing is huge and bulky. And not weather proof in any way - which limits the use outdoors.

Dots Combo Modular Saber
it creates more dot-like patterns instead of large saber light traces in the air. I have no clue how this is going to turn out. But i am willing to test it - since i already have the Critter RGB torch. I will likely next year add another torch, so that two people can light paint at the same time. Should be fun for Sal or perhaps even Karin, if she wants to test to do some light painting together.
My version i have chosen, will be relatively short with 41 cm.

That should be interesting - but i don't get in until 3-5 weeks.
Swedish "Postnord"
has a delightful tendency to take veeeery long time with (abroad) packages where you pay the extra 25% tax + post fee "for the service *LOL*. Then the delivery still takes up to a week, slower than a snail. It plain Shit service when it comes to Swedish customs.
So. There is that.
