In the above photo, i reduced the light in the Critter torch down to only 1% - and painted it during 80-100 seconds. More like an accentuating feature. Where your light brush becomes a tool to accentuate something. It is really fascinating to work like that... (because i can follow up and see the light trails live in the back of the Olympus OM-1 camera).

The main exposure setting of the "Live Comp" (in the menu) was 1/2 seconds (the shortest between 0.5 to the longest of 60 seconds). This is how the main first photo is exposed. In the second exposure - it then adds only highlights - indefinitely - or as long you press down the shutter [holding it open] I have an Olympus trigger which I can lock down, so i don't have to push down the camera shutter with my fingers).

Overall - this is literally an act of painting with light.
